Hi there!

Do you know one of the simplest things you can do to improve your mental health? You probably already do it every day, but maybe not as often as you should.

Drink more water.

There are a lot of things to think about when it comes to taking care of yourself. Besides following your regular treatment plan, you need to make sure that you’re eating nutritious food, getting adequate rest, and taking a little time to do something fun once in a while. 

Yet, there are always more things you can do.

One thing we may not think of in regards to our mental health is drinking water. Making sure you’re properly hydrated is very beneficial for maintaining stability.

Headaches

Dehydration can cause headaches. There’s an entire study focused around dehydration headaches and how drinking too little water can lead to migraines.

As a migraine sufferer, I think a lot about how much water I’m taking in. Headaches lasting more than a few days are their own special type of torture. The longer they last, the more they affect your mental health. Drinking enough water can help keep them in check.
