The Flowers Reminded Me Why the Rain Was Necessary: A Story of Positivity
Watching the lilies in my garden changed everything.
Hi there!
When I was in my early twenties, I had a thriving credit research business.
I was on top of the world until the emerging internet brought everything to a screeching halt. In the matter of a few days, I went from having four employees and fun money to applying for work with a temp agency.
Sometimes life sneaks up behind you and smacks you across the back of the head. With no warning, everything changes, and it’s up to you to adapt.
Young and reckless, I had nothing set aside for a rainy day. Things felt hopeless.
Then, in the middle of a depressive episode, I saw the lilies.
“May the flowers remind us why the rain was necessary.”
