Hi there!

I never truly understood grief until I lost my best friend, Lizzy. Yes, I experienced other losses before then. Losing my grandmother was especially tough because it was the first time I lost someone I loved.

When my Lizzy died, my universe went dark. I returned to unhealthy habits and pushed friends away. All the colors faded to gray, and I doubted I would ever smile or laugh again.
