Hi there!

When I was about seven years old, I taught myself to ride a bike. The purple monstrosity was much too big for me and there were no training wheels or a helper to hold the bike steady. But I was determined, and after many falls, I learned to keep that two-wheeled cycle upright.

My parents raised me to be independent. If I didn’t know how to do a task, I figured it out. It’s how I learned to shave and tie a tie.
