Have you ever wanted to give up?
I know I have. There have been plenty of times in my life when I’ve wanted to throw in the towel and scream, “That’s it! I’m done!” But something inside me always makes me keep going, no matter how tough things get.
It’s in the most challenging days when I remember a quote from one of my favorite authors, Napoleon Hill: “No man is ever whipped until he quits in his own mind.”
It’s easy to feel like giving up when life gets tough. When bipolar depression sets in or a manic cycle comes to a crashing end, going on may feel pointless. In those rough times, we need to focus on others instead of ourselves.
Changing your perspective will help you find the strength to keep going.
"No man is ever whipped until he quits in his own mind."
