Hi there!

Tuesday’s Journal Prompt: Do you ask for help when you need it? Why or why not? How can you improve?

Some burdens take over your entire life. That’s how I felt when I was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder. My universe shifted, and suddenly, mental illness was at the center of everything.

I wish I could go back in time and tell that 23-year-old man things would get better. Even more important, I wish I could tell him how to carry the weight of the diagnosis.
