Hi there!

Last week, 8 inches of snow fell on my little town in southeast Tennessee. Eight inches of snow doesn’t sound like much.

Growing up in central Wisconsin, several inches of snow was just a typical day during the winter. They rarely closed schools or businesses for such a small amount.

Living near Chattanooga, 8 inches of snow is a big deal. It closes everything. And I do mean everything.

To make matters worse, the temperature then plummeted down to zero. This snow came to stay.
