Hi there!

I talk about journaling a lot because it has had a huge impact on my mental health and stability. I started my first journal in 1983 because it was the only place I felt truly safe. After every entry, I would dutifully hide the small blue spiral notebook in a small, hard-to-reach opening in my closet wall, confident that it was secure.

Over the years, my journal has become a lifelong friend. It’s the only one that’s always been there, even on the days I ignore its pages.

Journaling is an excellent tool for building resilience, especially when navigating the challenges of mental health. Here are a few ways it can help you on your own journey.
