I know what it’s like to put things off. In fact, I used to be a master at it.
No matter the project, I would tell myself there was plenty of time, and then before I knew it, the day passed with nothing done. Sound familiar? For people with mental illness, procrastination can make things much worse.
Why? Because when we put things off, we’re only adding more pain to our lives in the long run.
What follows is why we procrastinate and how we can improve.
