Hi there!

You are a winner.

It’s true. Bipolar disorder can make it feel like a die, but don’t believe it. Every day you keep fighting, you are winning, and you should celebrate every victory.

It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small, any win is worth recognizing.

Today you might have gotten out of bed, brushed your teeth, and made breakfast. That’s a great win! Maybe your goal this week was to call the doctor and make an appointment. If you did it, celebrate the triumph. Maybe your goal was to reach out to a friend or to get some exercise. If you reached a target, it’s time to celebrate.

No matter what you achieve, make sure to congratulate yourself.

You are doing something amazing: living and growing despite the challenges bipolar disorder throws at you. It’s no small feat. Tackling mental illness requires courage and endurance each day, so show yourself the respect you deserve.

Take some time to pause and appreciate what you did.
