Hi there!

I first started writing online because I wanted to vent. In fact, the first website domain I ever purchased was ScottRants.com No, you won’t find it anywhere because I never published the first post on the site, but there was something freeing about knowing I had a place where I could complain about all the injustices I saw in the world.

While I had a lot to vent about, it wasn't the type of writing I was meant to do.

For years, I had vowed to write a book titled Speaking Bipolar–a Mental Illness Translator (here is the first chapter). I had a dream about helping people understand bipolar disorder, both from the inside and the outside. When I started to write online, that voice called louder with each word I wrote.
